Foundation Tutorials

The foundation tutorials showcase the major features of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ in a series of short tutorials.

The foundation tutorials span the entire workflow in Simcenter STAR-CCM+, from creating geometry in 3D-CAD, to setting up the physics and post-processing the results.

The main theme for the foundation tutorials is a graphics card with a blower fan. This geometry is well-suited for this purpose as it uses a large number of features available in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ without being overly complex.

The graphics card is then positioned inside an empty box that emulates a test bench environment.

For this release, the foundation tutorials cover the design and creation of the geometry in 3D-CAD. In future releases, more tutorials will be added to demonstrate how to set up the mesh, the physics, run the solver, and how to post-process the results.
