Installing the Downloaded Package on Linux

Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Viewer requires GNU C library (glibc) version 2.17 or greater, along with the
libraries xkbcommon and xkbcommon-x11.
The steps required to install Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Viewer on Linux 64-bit platforms are:
- Download the required package from the Siemens Digital Industries Software website.
- Run the installer script (a StarView+*.bin file).

In the installer dialog, accept the License Agreement.
Subsequent pages are presented to ensure the installation is installed in the correct location.
The final screen indicates the end of the Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Viewer installation process.
