Overset Volume Integral

This report is particularly useful for overset mesh simulations. It computes the volume integral of a scalar quantity by taking into account the volume of the overlapping cells of overlapping regions only once.

The volume integral of a scalar quantity is computed as:

where ϕc is the cell value of the selected scalar and Vc is the corrected cell volume. The corrected cell volume is obtained by evaluating the Overset Grid Volume field function. See Overset Mesh Field Function Reference.
