Setting Up the Porous Phases
You create the anode and cathode porous phases and select the relevant phase models.
To define the porous cathode and anode:
- Right-click the New. node and select
- Rename the conductor-cathode. node
-
For the conductor-cathode phase, select the following
models in order:
Group Box Models Enabled Models Phase Reacting Model (selected automatically) Material Solid Equation of State Constant Density Optional Models Electromagnetism Electromagnetism Electrodynamic Potential (selected automatically) -
Select the Ohmic Heating model within the
Air continuum.
- Right-click the Select Models. node and select
- In the Optional Models group box, select Ohmic Heating.
- Click Close.
- Right-click the New. node and select
- Rename the conductor-anode. node
-
For the conductor-anode phase, select the following
models in order:
Group Box Models Enabled Models Phase Reacting Model (selected automatically) Material Solid Equation of State Constant Density Optional Models Electromagnetism Electromagnetism Electrodynamic Potential (selected automatically) -
Select the Ohmic Heating model within the
Fuel continuum.
- Right-click the Select Models. node and select
- In the Optional Models group box, select Ohmic Heating.
- Click Close.
- Save the simulation.
