Setting Material Properties
Set the material properties for gas and air.
The dynamic viscosity for air is calculated as:
where the velocity = 252 m/s, the chord length = 1 m, and the Reynolds number = 6.5E6. The density has a value of 1.177 kg/m^2 and is calculated according to the ideal gas law:
where the pressure = 101325 Pa, the specific gas constant for air = 287 J/kg-K, and the temperature = 300 K.
The thermal conductivity for air is calculated as:
where the specific heat is = 1003.62 J/kg-K and the Prandtl number for air is = 0.72.
To specify the resulting values of 4.58E-5 Pa-s for the dynamic viscosity and 0.0638414 W/m-K for the thermal conductivity:- Open the and nodes.
