Analyzing the Results

You create plots to demonstrate the valve dynamic reaction to the system input.

To create a plot for the outlet flow rate of the flapper valve, which corresponds to the Design Manager response Flow Rate BAOT:
1. In the fmu connection area, right-click the flow rate connector shown below and select Variable list.
2. In the Variable List dialog, select transmitter output or transmitter input—for this transmitter input flow rate is equal to the output flow rate, and click Plot.
To save this plot in the simulation file, select the File > Add to system... node and click OK.
To create a plot for the vertical force acting on the valve, which corresponds to Design Manager response Force Vertical:
1. In the system diagram, locate the fmu block and its connectors, right-click the vertical force connector and select Variable List.
2. In the Variable List dialog, select transmitter output or transmitter input—for this transmitter input force is equal to the output force—and click Plot.
