Preparing Post-Processing Objects
Create scalar and vector scenes to monitor the Lorentz force, the magnetic flux density, and the velocity of the fluid during the simulation run.
- Expand the Scenes node.
To visualize the Lorentz force in a scene:
- Create a vector scene named Lorentz Force.
-
Edit the Lorentz Force node and set the following
properties:
Node Property Setting Parts Coils and Ladle (deselect Void) Vector 1 Parts
Parts Coils and Ladle (deselect Void) Vector Field
Function Lorentz Force Density
To visualize the axial component of the Lorentz force:
- Create a scalar scene named Lorentz Force [i].
-
Edit the Lorentz Force [i] node and set the following
properties:
Node Property Setting Outline 1 Outline Deactivated Scalar 1 Display Mesh Activated Parts
Parts Coils and Ladle (deselect Void) Scalar Field
Function
To visualize the magnetic flux density in a scene:
- Create a vector scene named Magnetic Flux Density.
- Select the node and set Function to .
To visualize the velocity imparted to the fluid in a scene:
- Create a vector scene named Fluid Velocity.
-
Edit the Fluid Velocity node and set the following
properties:
Node Property Setting Parts Coils and Ladle (deselect Void) Vector 1 Display Mode Line Integral Convolution Parts
Parts Coils and Ladle (deselect Void) - Save the simulation.
