  - Ohmic Heating: Domestic Fuse
    This tutorial demonstrates some of the capabilities of the Ohmic Heating model available in Simcenter STAR-CCM+.
  - Magnetic Vector Potential: Axial Flux Motor
    This tutorial demonstrates how to use the Finite Element Magnetic Potential Vector model to solve for the magnetic flux produced by the magnets of an axial-flux motor.
  - Magnetohydrodynamics: Stirring Induced by Excitation Coils
    In this tutorial, you simulate the electromagnetic stirring of molten metal induced by excitation coils.
    - Loading the Initial Simulation
      For this tutorial, you are provided with a starting simulation that includes an axisymmetric mesh representing the coils, the ladle, and the vacuum chamber.

      In this tutorial, you model the five excitation coils as a single solid region with five coil turns.

      In this tutorial, you model the molten metal as a fluid with high electrical conductivity in the laminar regime.

      As you are only interested in the magnetic potential solution, you model the vacuum chamber as a solid. Modeling a vacuum as a fluid would require solving the equations of flow, which is not necessary in this case.
    - Preparing Post-Processing Objects
      Create scalar and vector scenes to monitor the Lorentz force, the magnetic flux density, and the velocity of the fluid during the simulation run.
    - Running the Simulation
      To improve stability, increase the under-relaxation factor for the magnetic potential solver, then run the simulation.
    - Visualizing the Results
      You can visualize the magnetic flux density distribution, the Lorentz force, and the fluid velocity in the scalar scenes that you created in the previous section.

  - Airgap Remeshing: Electronic Speedometer
    Electric machine simulations require a conformal mesh at the interfaces between different components. Airgap remeshing is a meshing technique that allows you to generate and maintain conformal meshes between regions that are in relative motion.
