Morphing Option
This node allows you to determine how the morphing for a boundary is specified. It is activated when the Harmonic Balance Flutter motion is enabled.

Method Corresponding Physics Value Nodes Fixed - Morpher Thinout Factor
- Points on this boundary are treated as control points with zero displacement. See Morpher Boundary Condition Reference. The Harmonic Balance Flutter motion and the Morpher motion share this node.
In Plane - Morpher Plane Options
- Points on this planar boundary are allowed to slide in the plane. This is implemented by damping the displacements, and is much less expensive than using control points.
- Harmonic Displacement
- Points on this boundary have specified displacement. This option is available when the Harmonic Balance Flutter motion is enabled.
- Harmonic Displacement
- Adds the child nodes Imaginary Displacement and Real Displacement. The physical displacements are calculated according to Eqn. (5058) at each time level. The real and imaginary displacements specify the amplitude of the periodic function in Eqn. (5058).
- Morpher Thinout Factor
- See Morpher Boundary Condition Reference. The Morpher motion share this node.
Temporal Displacement - Temporal Displacement
- This option is a vector profile node specifying the nodal displacements directly as a function of time ($Time) using standard vector profile formats.
- Morpher Thinout Factor
- See Morpher Boundary Condition Reference. The Morpher motion shares this node.
- Floating
- The option is turned off for the boundary. Points on this boundary have no boundary condition; they move wherever the other control points dictate.
None. - Fixed Plane
- Points on this boundary have no boundary condition; they move wherever the other control points dictate.
None.
