Preparing the Scenes
Here you prepare scalar scenes to visualize the impingement rate, the volume fraction of the dispersed phase, and the total solid film thickness increment. You also create a vector scene to visualize the morpher displacement.
To visualize the impingement rate:
- Create a scalar scene and rename it to Impingement Rate.
- Expand the node.
- Edit the Region_1 from the selected Parts. node, and remove
-
For the node,
Scalar 1, set the following properties:
Node Property Setting Parts Parts Scalar Field Function
To visualize the volume fraction of the dispersed phase:
- Create a scalar scene and rename it to DMP Volume Fraction.
-
Edit the
node, and set the following properties:
Node Property Setting Parts Region_1 Function
The solid film thickness increment is computed at every time step. To visualize the total solid film thickness increment, accumulated during the total simulation time, you need to create a Field Sum monitor for the
Solid Film Thickness Increment scalar function.
-
Within the
Field Sum monitor with the following settings:
node, create a new
Property Setting Field Function Solid Film Thickness Increment Parts - Rename the Field Sum 1 monitor to Total Solid Film Thickness Increment.
- Create a scalar scene and rename it to Total Solid Film Thickness Increment.
- Expand the node.
- Edit the Region_1 from the selected Parts. node, and remove
-
For the node,
, set the following properties:
Node Property Setting Parts Parts Scalar Field Function Sum of Solid Film Thickness Increment
To visualize the morpher displacement:
- Create a vector scene and rename it to Morpher Displacement.
- Expand the node.
- Select the Outline 1 node and activate Surface.
- Edit the node, deselect all Parts, and then select .
-
For the node,
Vector 1, set the following properties:
Node Property Setting Parts Parts Vector Field Function Morpher Displacement - Save the simulation.
