Component Mapping Model Reference
For phase interactions between multi-component phases, every component in the fluid film continuum must be mapped to its corresponding component in the Lagrangian, Eulerian, or VOF phase.

A Multiphase simulation with the Fluid Film model activated. A Phase Interaction with both the fluid film phase and the interacting phase being multi-component phases. A phase interaction model, such as Impingement, Wave Stripping, or Resolved Fluid Film, activated in the Phase Interaction. |

Matches the fluid film components to their corresponding Lagrangian, VOF, or Eulerian dispersed phase components.
The following conditions apply:
- A complete mixture mapping is required. Every component in the fluid film must be mapped to the corresponding component in the liquid Lagrangian, VOF, or Eulerian phase.
- Both the fluid film and Lagrangian, VOF, or Eulerian phases must consist of the same material components. However, the ratios of the components can be different.
