Setting Material Properties

Gas and surface species—as well as their reactions, thermodynamic properties, and molecular transport properties—are imported with the complex chemistry definition.

To see the species that are imported, expand the Continua > Physics 1 > Models > Multi-Component Gas > Gas Components node.

The Material Properties > Specific Heat node for each species is automatically defined with the complex chemistry definition Thermodynamic Polynomial Data. The next step is to set mixture properties.

Open the Multi-Component Gas > Material Properties node and set the following properties:
