3D-CAD: Cyclone Separator
Cyclone separators provide a low-cost solution for removing particulate matter from gas or liquid flows. In Simcenter STAR-CCM+, the 3D-CAD geometry modeler provides all the tools necessary for creating this type of geometry directly.
Creating the 3D-CAD Model
The 3D-CAD modeler in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ has its own tree that opens in a dedicated panel. Here, you create an empty model and enter the modeler.
