Using a Meridional Projection Transform

This transform is a simple projection of the points of the part into the (z,r) plane. It requires only two vectors in its properties: Rotation Origin and Rotation Axis.

The following example uses the meridional projection transform:

  • The rotation axis is [0, 0, 1] (aligned with the z-axis).
  • The origin is upstream of the surface at [0, 0, 0].
  • The following screenshot shows the view down the z-axis. The transform maps the part to the (x, y) axis.
