This section details the field functions that are made available to the simulation when a Reynolds Stress turbulence model is used.

Kolmogorov Length Scale
Scalar field that represents the turbulent length scale η, as defined in Eqn. (1492).
This field is only available when the Temporary Storage Retained option is ticked for the relevant turbulence solver.
Kolmogorov Time Scale
Scalar field that represents the turbulent time scale τη, as defined in Eqn. (1493).
This field is only available when the Temporary Storage Retained option is ticked for the relevant turbulence solver.

Reynolds Stress uv
The specific shear stress u′ v′ _ .

Taylor Micro Scale
Scalar field that represents the turbulent length scale λ, as defined in Eqn. (1494).
This field is only available when the Temporary Storage Retained option is ticked for the relevant turbulence solver.
Turbulent Dissipation Rate
The transported variable ε .
Turbulent Kinetic Energy
The variable k , computed from the trace of the specific Reynolds stress tensor.
Turbulent Viscosity
Scalar field that represents the turbulent viscosity μt.
Turbulent Viscosity Ratio
Scalar field that represents the ratio of turbulent to laminar viscosity μt/μ.
