Snapshots | - Children
- Specifies the number of snapshots in the Design Manager project (read-only).
|
[snapshot] | - Design Study
- Specifies the design study from which the snapshot extracts the data.
- Design Set
- Specifies a design set in the specified design study, from which the snapshot extracts the data.
- Scene/Plot
- Specifies a scene or plot in the specified design study.
- Scene Format/Plot Format
- Specifies the data format for the selected scene or plot. The options are:
- Star-View+ File: Writes the
scene or plot to a Viewer file
(.sce), which allows you to
work with the same three-dimensional image that
you had in Simcenter STAR-CCM+. You can open a
*.sce file in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Viewer.
- Hardcopy: Writes the scene or plot to a portable network graphics file (*.png).
- Tags
- Specifies the tags for the snapshot. For more information, see Tagging Simulation Objects.
- Lock Design
- Locks the snapshot display to the specified design.
- Design
- Specifies the design to display in the snapshot.
- Aspect Ratio
- Automatically uses the Aspect Ratio from
the original scene/plot. In case of an empty
snapshot, the default is Fit Screen. You
can change the setting using the following options:
- Fit Screen
- 16:9
- 16:10
- 4:3
- 1:1
- Orientation
- Automatically uses the Orientation from
the original scene/plot. In case of an empty
snapshot, the default is Landscape. You
can change the setting to Portrait.
|
Animation | - Target Frame Rate (fps)
- Maximum number of animation frames that are displayed in one second (less for complex scenes, or when less computing power is available).
|
Annotations | - Annotations
- A list of the annotations added to the snapshot. Editing the property accesses the in-place object selector to add or remove annotations.
|
[annotation] | - Width Stretch Factor
- Scales the width of the annotation, with the default of 1.0 equaling 100% of the original width
- Height
- The height of the annotation as a fraction of the visualization display height, where 1.0 equals the full height
- Position
- The position of the lower left corner of the text in the Graphics window based on the specified Coordinate System.
- Visible
- When On, shows the annotation in the display. When Off, the annotation is hidden.
- Coordinate System
- Selects the type of coordinates to use for Position.
- Normalized Viewport: Shows x-y values as fractions of the length and height of the Graphics window display, respectively. The origin is the lower left-hand corner of that display.
- World: Shows x-y-z values as global coordinates. As you rotate the object, the annotation keeps its position relative to that object.
- Interactive
- When On, allows you to move the annotation in the display using the mouse. When Off, locks the position of the annotation in the display.
- Location
- Controls the visibility of the annotation relative to the objects in the display.
- Background: Shows the objects in front of the annotation.
- Foreground: Shows the annotation in front of the objects.
