Using Status Bar Alerts
You can activate alerts to appear on the status bar under the Output window, and view them when you want in a separate tab.
To activate the status bar alerts, select
.In the Options dialog, select the Environment node. Activate the Show Status Bar Alerts checkbox.
As you work, if Simcenter STAR-CCM+ generates an error message, warning, or information message, an icon appears at the lower right corner of the Output window, displaying a bubble for a few seconds. The bubble contains a brief summary of the message.

To view the messages, click any one of the icons. A tab with a table of the messages, organized by type, appears next to the tab with the Output window.
Depending on which of the icons you clicked, the list of messages of the corresponding type appears open for viewing.

The alert table columns are as follows:
- Type—indicates whether the message is an error, warning or information type.
- Message—the text of the logged message.
- Timestamp—indicates when the message was logged.
To see the messages of other types, click the handle next to the icons.
To view only the messages that contain a particular term, type in the text box near the top of the tab.

To see details of a message, select it in the list, then click the link that appears in the details area below the list view.

A typical message dialog appears offering you a chance to look at additional details.

To export all or part of the contents of the table, select the items in the list that you want to export, and select
Export Selected Rows. A standard
Save dialog appears in which you can choose the destination for the file in
.csv
format.
