Controlling the Camera View in the Animation
You can specify the camera view at multiple moments throughout the animation, so as to create fly-around and zoom effects for assessments of solution data.
Knowing in detail how to modify the camera views is helpful when setting up a camera animation in Screenplay.
-
To set up a scene view, use one of the following techniques:
- Position the scene interactively.
- Orientate the scene with an axis. For details, see Controlling Scene View and Perspective.
- Drag the node onto the Screenplay editor.
-
To capture a particular view in a keyframe:
-
To add extra points for setting the camera view, right-click the parent keyframe sequence node and select
New Keyframe.
- Alternatively, in the Screenplay editor, hover with the mouse near the bottom of the action block containing the camera view sequence. When the keyframe marker appears, move to the target position, and click. This action adds a keyframe within the sequence.
-
When reviewing camera view properties, you can drag the
[scene view] node from a keyframe onto the graphics window. The view updates to reflect the properties contained in the keyframe.
- If necessary, expand the keyframe node within the action node that corresponds to the scene view node. The sub-node of the keyframe functions as a view node. Edit that node and specify the properties.
Note | The final movement is combination of transforms and camera motion. |
