Selecting the Physics Models and Materials
Set up the physics continuum, then select physics models and data tables.
This model simulation uses two-dimensional space and steady time modeling for simplicity. The material is a viscous polymer modeled by the Power Law.
To select the physics models and materials:
- Create a new physics continuum and rename it Power-Law.

For the
Power-Law continuum, select the following models, in order:
Group Box Model Space Two Dimensional Time Steady Material Liquid Flow Viscous Flow
Constant Density (Selected automatically)
Laminar (Selected automatically)
Rheology Generalized Newtonian Optional Models Material Calibration - Select and rename H2O as Polymer.
- Select and set Method to Non-Newtonian Generalized Power Law.
