Visualizing Film Thickness, Temperature, and Velocity
The film thickness is a solution variable and you can visualize its spatial distribution in the form of a scalar contour plot. Also of interest are the temperature and the velocity distribution of the extruded film. You display the velocity as a line integral convolution plot.
-
Create a scalar scene for the film thickness:
- Right-click the Scenes node and select .
- Rename the Scalar Scene 1 node as Film Thickness.
- Select the Function to Film Thickness. node and set
-
Create a scalar scene for the temperature distribution:
- Create a new scalar scene and rename it as Temperature.
- Select the Function to Temperature. node and set
-
Create a vector scene for the velocity distribution:
- Right-click the Scenes node and select .
- Rename the Vector 1 node as Velocity.
- Select the Display Mode to Line Integral Convolution. node and set
- Save the simulation.
