Continuous-Dispersed Topology Reference

For each Eulerian Multiphase phase interaction that is not between particles in the Granular Pressure model, the Continuous-Dispersed Topology defines which phase is continuous and which is dispersed.

Physics continuum selections:
  • Material: Multiphase
  • Multiphase Model: Eulerian Multiphase (EMP) (Automatically activates: Multiphase Interaction, Gradients.)

Two Eulerian phases are required.

Properties Key properties are: Continuous Phase, Dispersed Phase.

See Continuous-Dispersed Topology Properties.

Optional Models

The following models are selected automatically:

The following interphase transfer models are available for Eulerian Multiphase flows:

If the continuous phase is a liquid and the dispersed phase is a particle, you can also select the Suspension Rheology model.

Continuous Phase
The continuous phase of the interacting pair.
Dispersed Phase
