Preparing the Scene for Visualization
Add two displayers to the default scene: one to display the velocity vectors on a plane cutting through the center of the simulation domain and one to display the temperature on the chip package.
- Right-click the node and select .
- Within the in-place dialog, in the Plane Parameters group box, set the Normal vector to [0.0, 1.0, 0.0] mm.
- Click OK.
Set up the displayer that shows the
velocity vectors on the plane section:
- Right-click the New Displayer. node and select
-
In the in-place dialog for the displayer, set the following properties:
Property Setting Name Air Velocity Drawable Items Section Displayer Mode Vector Field Function Velocity - Click OK.
Set up the displayer that shows the
temperature on the chip package:
-
Create a new displayer and set the following properties:
Property Setting Name Package Temperature Drawable Items Package Displayer Mode Scalar Field Function Temperature Color Map cool-warm Contour Style Smooth Filled
To have a better view of the chip package temperature, hide the mesh:
- Right-click the Toggle Visibility. node and select
-
Save the simulation
