Passive Scalar Transfers Node

Passive scalar transferences can be area weighted or volume weighted. See Passive Scalar Interactions. Volume-weighted interactions model diffusion from the Lagrangian particle into the Eulerian fluid. This interaction conserves the density-weighted passive scalar. Area-weighted interactions model adsorption/desorption between the Lagrangian particle and the Eulerian fluid, with distinct forward and backward rates.

Passive Scalar Transfers Right-Click Actions
New > Area Weighted
Under the Coefficient 1 to 2 node, specify the parameter control rate of transfer from the Phase 1 Material to the Phase 2 Material.
Under the Coefficient 2 to 1 node, specify the parameter control rate from the Phase 2 Material to the Phase 1 Material.
New > Volume Weighted
Under the Coefficient node, specify the parameter control rate between the Phase 1 Material and the Phase 2 Material.

You can create an arbitrary number of interaction nodes.

Area/Volume Weighted Properties
Sets Phase 1 Material to the passive scalar in the Lagrangian phase. Sets Phase 2 Material to the passive scalar in the Eulerian phase.
