Curve Import Options

Set the import options to control how 2D or 3D curves are imported from .csv files.

Import as spline Imports the 2D or 3D curve as a spline. If you intend to use a 3D curve in a 3D-CAD operation (such as Extrude, Loft, and Sweep), select this option.
Import as polyline Imports the 2D or 3D curve as a succession of straight lines, using the coordinates as end-points. Note that the resulting polyline does not define a smooth curve.
Import as Rigid Spline Imports a 3D curve as a rigid spline. If you intend to import a spline containing a large number of data point, select this option. This reduces the memory required for these large cases as well as reducing the size of the simulation file.
Close the curve Closes the imported curve. Useful when the spreadsheet contains an open profile, such as an aerofoil profile, and you want to close this.
Coordinate System Specifies the coordinate system in which the points are defined. This option only applies to 3D curves. Currently only Cartesian and Cylindrical coordinates are supported.
