Chamber

Define the geometry, placement, and physics of the chamber using an Enclosure QuickPart.

To define the chamber:

Right-click the QuickParts node and select New QuickPart > Enclosure > Rectangular.
In the Edit dialog, set Name to Chamber.

Set the following Geometry properties:

Y	305.0 mm
Z	305.0 mm
Thickness	3.0 mm

Click Update and OK.

To remove the bottom wall of the enclosure:

In the Graphics window, right-click the bottom face of the enclosure and select Create Open Enclosure Face.

Apply convection conditions outside of the chamber:

In the Graphics window, multi-select the four outer side surfaces and the top surface of the chamber. Right-click and select Create QuickPart Surface.
In the Rename dialog, set Name to Environment and click OK.
The selected surfaces are split from the Default : Solids QuickPart Surface of the chamber.
Right-click the QuickParts > Chamber > Environment node and select Edit.
In the Edit dialog, set Thermal Specification to Convection.
Click Apply and Close.
All solid components of the JEDEC test case are now complete.
Save the simulation .
