Visualizing the Solution

To visualize how the pressure at the blade surfaces and the beam forces change with the solution time, set up a scene with two displayers—one for the pressure field and one for the beam forces.

  1. Right-click the Scenes node and select New > Scalar.
  2. Rename Scalar Scene 1 to Force and Pressure.
  3. Click Scene/Plot.
  4. Delete the Outline 1 displayer.
  5. Create a scalar displayer to display the pressure coefficient on the blade surfaces:
    1. Rename Scalar 1 to Pressure Coefficient.
    2. Select the Pressure Coefficient > Parts node and set Parts to the following boundaries:
      • Regions > Blade 1 > Boundaries > Blade 1
      • Regions > Blade 2 > Boundaries > Blade 2
      • Regions > Blade 3 > Boundaries > Blade 3
      • Regions > Blade 4 > Boundaries > Blade 4
    3. Select Scalar Field and set Function to Pressure Coefficient.
  6. Create a vector displayer to display the forces on the beams:
    1. Right-click the Force and Pressure node and select New Displayer > Vector.
    2. Rename the Vector 1 displayer to Force.
    3. Select the Force > Parts node and set Parts to the following boundaries:
      • Regions > Beam 1 > Boundaries > Beam
      • Regions > Beam 2 > Boundaries > Beam
      • Regions > Beam 3 > Boundaries > Beam
      • Regions > Beam 4 > Boundaries > Beam
    4. Select Vector Field and set Function to Co-Simulations > Co-Simulation: Force.
  7. Click Simulation.
  8. Expand the Tools > Annotations node.
  9. Drag and drop the Time Step and Solution Time annotation nodes into the Force and Pressure scalar scene, and move the annotations into appopriate positions.
  10. Save the simulation.
