Selecting the Physics Models
Physics models define the primary variables of the simulation, including pressure, temperature, velocity, and what mathematical formulation is used to generate the solution.
In this case, the transient Reynolds-Averaged Navier Stokes equations are solved for using the K-Epsilon turbulence model and the Segregated Flow solver. The Volume of Fluid (VOF) model is activated before the melting and solidification option becomes available for Eulerian phases.
To select the physics models:
- Right-click Select models.... and click
- In the Enabled Models group box, deactivate Two-Dimensional.
-
