Contextual Right-Click Menus

Right-click menus give you control over visualization where you need it.

Depending on what type of objects you select, right-clicking on one of the selected objects activates certain pop-up menu options. For example, right-clicking on one of two selected boundaries in a scene allows you to combine those boundaries.

Right-clicking within the background of a graphics window reveals a context menu with actions relevant to the whole window. Right-clicking on a particular object reveals a menu with actions appropriate to the type of object.

Hiding Objects

To get access to an object in a scene when it is obscured by other objects, the most common technique is to hide any objects that are in the way.

Renaming Objects

To change the name of a part in the scene:

  1. Click once on it in the visualization display. This highlights that part.
  2. Right-click on it to activate the pop-up menu and select Rename.
