Velocity Correction

There are three separate reports available: the X-Velocity Correction report, the Y-Velocity Correction report, and, for three-dimensional cases, the Z-Velocity Correction report.

• ${\overline{C}}_v$ is the scaled correction for the velocity calculation.
• $N$ is the number of cells.
• $\delta v_i$ is the velocity correction in the $i$th cell. $v$ can be the X, Y, or Z velocity.
• ${\sigma }_v$ is the standard deviation of the velocity:

  and

  $$\overline{v}=\frac{1}{N}{\displaystyle \sum _{i=1}^N{v}_i}$$
