Solid Stress

Running the Simulation
Specify appropriate running settings for this simulation. As this is a linear problem solved with a direct solver, a solution is computed within the first iteration. For a linear problem, it is good practice to make sure that the residuals drop at least 6 orders of magnitude within the second iteration.

Running the Simulation

Specify appropriate running settings for this simulation. As this is a linear problem solved with a direct solver, a solution is computed within the first iteration. For a linear problem, it is good practice to make sure that the residuals drop at least 6 orders of magnitude within the second iteration.

Expand the Stopping Criteria node.
Select the Maximum Steps node and set Maximum Steps to 2.
Select the Force Criterion > Minimum Limit node and set Minimum Value to 1.0E-6.
Click (Run).
Save the simulation.
