Subtract Parts

The subtract mesh operation removes geometry parts from the target geometry part.

This operation performs geometrical changes (as opposed to topological) to the target part. The subtract mesh operation also allows you to subtract parts that are not closed or non-manifold including parts that are formed from sheet bodies. These parts can only be placed in the input parts—the target part must be closed and manifold.

Selecting the Operations > Subtract node allows you to set properties for the subtract mesh operation in the properties window.
