Creating Derived Point or Cross Imported Model Data Sets
Derived point or cross imported model data sets are represented as child nodes of the Surfaces node.
Add a derived data set from an imported model to your data set function using one of the following methods:
- To create a derived point imported model data set, right-click the Surfaces node and select New derived data from surface.
- To create a derived cross imported model data set (for a point-to-point data set function), right-click the Surfaces node and select New derived data from probe part on surface.
A point imported or cross imported node appears as a child to the Surfaces node.
