Using the Mass-Weighted Mixture

The mass-weighted mixture method calculates a given mixture property by mass-weighting the component property values.

For example, mixture property ϕ m i x is:

ϕmix=i=1Nyiϕi
(137)

where y i and ϕ i are the mass fraction and property values of mixture component- i and N is the total number of components in the mixture.
