Using the Clausius-Clapeyron Method

The Clausius-Clapeyron method uses the Clapeyron equation and the assumption of an ideal gas equation of state for the vapor to relate the latent heat of vaporization to the saturation pressure.

The Clausius-Clapeyron method is available for the Latent Heat of Vaporization if the Saturation Pressure is given by the Antoine Equation, Wagner Equation, Polynomial in T, or Table(T) methods.

The Clausius-Clapeyron method uses the following expression:

L=RT2psatdpsatdT

It is the need for d p s a t / d T which limits the choice of compatible methods for p s a t . The ideal gas constant implies that the Molecular Weight material property must be supplied.
